What is the process of 3D printing at PDSoc?Its simplest form is below: Read through the policy. Install Bambu Studio or Orca Slicer here. Slice your model to determine the print time. Book for a printer within the print time here. Select the filament during the booking process. Collect your model and pay for the model in person (Card payments only accepted).

Where Should I Submit my 3D Files?3D model files can be submitted here.

What File Format Should the File be?Ideally if the software is supported 3MF is the best option, due to its smaller file size and increased viewing quality. However STL file are also fine for submission with a reduce quality. Exporting a Model should be found in the "Export" menus in your desired CAD software.

Where can I add my FAQs?FAQs can be added to any page on your site or to your Wix mobile app, giving access to members on the go.

Where should I Drop my Filament Off at?Filament can be submitted at our dedicated 3D printing room on level 4 of building 5a. The room is located near the back wall where the stairs to level 5 are present.

What should the Identifer label include?The label should include your name, the filament type, the time of your print and the booked printer.

What should I do if no one is present in the 3D Printing Room?Simply leave the filament in the box outside of the room with the identifier label attached.

How would I Know if my Print is Ready?Simply wait for a email confirmation which is typically sent 10-30 after the expected printing finishing time. You can also be present at the expected time to collect your model.

How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor. To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.

Can I insert an image, video, or GIF in my FAQ?Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Create a new FAQ or edit an existing one 3. From the answer text box click on the video, image or GIF icon 4. Add media from your library and save.
